陈立教授于2004年作为引进人才回国,被吉林大学评为特聘教授及博士生导师,2014年9月任吉林大学护理学院院长,并任基础医学院药理教研室主任及学术带头人,博士生导师。目前为 “吉林省护理与康复工程实验室”、“吉林省卫生厅护理重点实验室”、“吉林省纳米医学工程实验室”、“吉林省新药临床前药理评价科技创新中心”等多个实验平台和实验室主任,吉林省高等学校“护理学品牌专业建设点”负责人,吉林省“护理复合型人才培养模式创新实验区”负责人,中华护理学会理事,吉林省护理学会教育分会主任委员,长春市护理学会教育分会主任委员,中国药理学会常务理事,吉林省药理学会理事长。曾获得吉林省学科领军教授、宝钢优秀教师、吉林省优秀海外归国人才学术贡献奖、长春市第六批有突出贡献专家、吉林大学“三育人”等荣誉称号。近5年主编国家级教材3部,副主编2部,参编教材12部,一部主编教材获得中国大学出版社图书优秀教材二等奖。承担国家级项目5项,省部级项目10余项,横向项目7项,累计经费1200余万元,获得吉林省自然科学二等奖一项、中国大学出版社图书优秀教材二等奖一项、吉林省高等学校教育技术成果三等奖一项、国家发明专利三项。发表论文100余篇,其中SCI论文75篇,发表通讯作者及第一单位共同通讯作者SCI论文60余篇,影响因子累计160余分。引用频次1200余次其中他引1100余次,单篇最高引频200余次。
